Food Heaven?

You know you are in a place with great food when total strangers meet in the hotel lobby after dinner and compare notes. Either that or you are staying at a place where a group of foodies have congregated. I know the latter is not true because most people here at the hotel are here for the horse show. My contribution to the discussion was a description of a salad with very possibly the best dressing I have ever had on it. Officially it was a creamy vingerette which does not sound good but it tasted amazing. Main course was a black bean burger with Normandy sauce-think cream. Again should. to have worked but it sure did. Dessert was an apple and caramel composte in a pastry shell. I know I am here for the history but think I might get sidetracked just a little at mealtimes.
