The Rouen Cathedral light show is pretty well known in France. But every English speaker run into these last three days has whispered, "you know about the amazing light show, right?"
I went the first night with my camera, the second without anything and now tonight with my tablet. I think the photos came out well but all of this writing is just to have more room to post pictures. 30 minutes to go and the crowd is starting to form.
This afternoon was spent at the Museaum of Antiquities. Rouen has an impressive selection of Roman and Eqyptian works for a small town, but you know me, straight to the 12th and 13th century stuff! I did learn that the French call this period Ducal Normandy. I figured they needed to have a name that did not involve English kings ruling Normandy!
